PITTSBURGH – Allegheny County Public Works, in cooperation with PennDOT District 11, today announced that paving operations on Babcock Boulevard between Wildwood Road and Pearce Mill Road will be extended until tomorrow due to the inclement weather we had over the weekend.

The final day of paving will now take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1.

Traffic traveling along Babcock Boulevard between Wildwood Road and Pearce Mill Road will be restricted by the moving paving operations.

The prime contractor is Allison Park Contractors Inc. of Allison Park, Pa. The project is being managed by the Allegheny County Department of Public Works. PennDOT is overseeing the project due to the federal funding involved.

For additional information, contact Construction Manager Ron Sander at 412-350-5585.
