Winter golf season continues through March 14

PITTSBURGH — The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that senior golf passes for the 2010 regular season will go on sale at the North and South park golf courses beginning on Mon., March 15.

Golfers ages 55 and older are eligible for the special $60 senior passes. The passes may be purchased Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the North and South park clubhouses. Locker rentals may also be purchased for $25 each beginning on March 15.

The winter golf season continues at both the North and South courses through Sun., March 14, weather and conditions permitting. The courses will close on Mon., March 15, for regular season preparation.

Regular season play will begin at the North and South park golf courses on Fri., March 26, weather and conditions permitting.
