AAA Community Library

The DHS Area Agency on Aging (AAA) houses a library specializing in information and resources of special interest to persons aged 60 years and older and providers of services for this population.

Using the AAA Community Library

  • Located at 441 Smithfield Street, Second Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (downtown Pittsburgh, accross from Macy's) behind the reception desk in the Administrator’s/Director’s Conference Room.
  • Check with the receptionist at 412-350-4234 to make sure the library is not in use for meeting purposes before visiting.
  • Please sign out all library materials on the sign out sheet located in the library. 
  • Items may be borrowed for three weeks. 
  • Arrangements can be made to pull specific resources in advance of a borrower’s visit.
